I used email archiver and it worked great. Only problem, the emails were arranged alphabetically by subject line after they were converted to pdfs. I need them arranged chronologically. Is there any way to do that?

You can reorder files as they are viewed in the Finder by ‘creation date’ which will be the date the email was sent.
In the Finder select the right view mode, then in view options, turn on
